No it dont, you have too back feed the battery with 35V for about 1min too fry a chip inside. Have not taken a look at what it really dose but once you do that it will take a charge. Note not sure if it is balancing the cells properly when doing this.

Hy Guys!

I got a question for you!
Will the BMS work as a standalone unit without the serial interface to the controller?
Does the external battery pack charge when its not connected to the scooter?

Could somebody try maybe? To view images REGISTER or LOGIN for full access.

Any 42V charger works, just make sure the connector fits. You can get the OEM charger from ebay or a cheaper copy works just as well. The Xiaomi M365 charger has the same connector and they are about 10USD on ebay!

[img][img]I think the lime-s has it's own brand of scooters and are not using es 1/2/3/4? Am I right ?

I saw this TIER scooter and I don't know which model it is can someone enlighten me ? What do u think it requires to hack this one
Looks very similar to a Jump. On a Jump you would probably need the dash and controller. And some times the exterior shared battery may not work.
You could possibly flash the dash and battery, some people have managed too.

When you take out the controller, post a picture of the controller pcb.

For me it works perfectly, I can charge external battery when its not connected to scooter. I think its standard BMS inside, not smart in any way, only controller is smart enough to recognize units s/n.
