Captured a Bird today that read $5 on the map. Upon scanning it and checking the tasks, it was showing up at $13.30. Has anyone had this experience?
To make it more interesting the scooter is showing at 83% on the tasks and has not moved in spite of being charged for several hours. This happened yesterday with a different scooter. Is this a common occurrence?

You probably captured a Bird other than the one you were looking for.

Bird will let you capture any scooter that's available when scanning. Not just the one you selected on the map to launch the scanner section.
