Bird announced today they are coming out with a new scooter called the Bird One. It’ll have a 30 miles range and go 18mph. The big difference with this scooter is you can buy it for $1300!

They also commented on Birds anti-theft team called the Bird Hunter Network. This group will be tracking down stolen scooters whether they are owned by Bird or a customer.

No more need to look for Birds at the impound auctions. You can buy for $1300 now and you can use it's GPS to keep track of it. I wonder who gets to pay the monthly cellular bill .
