There is also a bypass manual cable taped to the blue connector cable that you can sometimes pull enough and it will automatically unlock the latch but yeah they usually tape it to the blue connector that's going down in the slant from the handlebar shaft to the bottom platform that slant part is where it's taped to the blue connector but sometimes the blue connector unconnects before it pulls hard enough to unlatch it so if you can get something to get down in there and pull it where it's connected again and pull that you should be able to open it no problem I prefer to just cut a small hole about halfway in between the slant part and then get some needle nose pliers and pull on that cable

Having an old EB100B OKAI Bicycle that has the same battery as the ES400B. It has no power and is completely dead. I'm trying to remove the battery but no luck. Drilled the holes really open but it is really not moving. Any sugestions?

Ok, finaly found time to mount the Hall Sensor inside the motor.
Steps :
find Black/Red from controller to supply the 5V
find suitable new cable to motor, at lease 8 wires, i found a 9 wire one.
disassemble motor, take off lid, then with 2 hands firmly press down, then inside pops out.
cut off old cable next to shaft and pull old out, remove the glue that held it.
mount Hall sensor, my motor had pre defined holes.
hot glued Hall PCB to motor windings, but since i don't trust the glue ( motor might get hot, then glue gets soft and loosens ) i tied the sensors with little clothing wires also.
then solder the wires for + and - and also the a-b-c Hall chanels
Solder the phase wires and secure all stuff with shrink wrap and hot glue.
assemble the stuff and off you go.
( inside the windings you find Black/White wires, these go to a temp sensor, i removed it.)
the whining noise is completely gone, speed increased a little bit to almost 40 kph

after you remove the 4 bolts that hold the electronic lock you need to turn it up side down, and afther wigling it around, the lock should slide up, or now down and the battery just falls. unsless yours is more recent and have some extra metal to prevent the slide the lock trick.
hope it helps let me know ;)

You have to make a hole at the top side, then you can unlock it with a bicycle spoke

There are no Hall sensors in the motor at all, so you can't test them

RGB controller made for controlling LED in handlebars. Touch buttons in the original display made for light and LED
Send Switch to open and close the battery. Key switch mounted on the handlebars for motor controller on or off. :D

[Jevako030. In that picture of the lime controller,
you see where you circled to show temperature, look at the spot for 5 volt dc.. no solder... now if you look at the plug its a missing red wire, its cut in the harness. I wonder if we solder it back to the board would the controller turn on 24/7. .. email me hotroddidit@yahoo.com . Help me please..

I opened the motorwheel and discovered that there are 3 hall sensors in it but not connected, I think this is the cause of
the jerking engine. So you have to connect it to your controller and pull 3 cables for it. A temperature sensor is connected and that is the red/black/white thin cable. You can connect this to the hall connector of your controller, but it has no effect on the shock, only on the temperature. The Lime motor controller also shows Temp

Okay, I can try, However My method does not involving using their controller, only their battery (bypass), their back wheel, their frame, brakes, their seat lol, KT Controller (with no hall wires) and removing excess wires and using their wires for throttle (too lazy to wire headlight), and a dash that I taped on. Just wire them and get it to work. Range for each small 36v pack is ~20 miles on real test. This mobility device gonna last at least 5+ years compared to off the shelf amazon scoots.

hello,

do you know how to change the front and rear tires (zc-rubber 60/90-8).

I took the wheel off, with a chisel, but I haven't thought how to remove the tire yet.
