I recently acquired a veo astro4. I did replace the controller, the problem I am having is when I am at full throttle, the motor while under no load will lose power and a red light is present on the battery itself.

Cool, it's helpful to have clear images, but it can also be the bms inside almost every fleet scooter. So what the bms on those usually does it lets you have some power (for iot) but if that is not present or the server did't say it to start, the bms won't give output, (or in this case, give output for 5 seconds). Think abput it this way, bms want encrypted message, you don't give it that, it won't give you power, therefore no fun time.
So try bypassing the bms, maybe P+ to B+ or similar, and hope it works. And keep it tidy because it's a swappable model :D

Thanks! Yeah, it definitely isn't the bms. I appreciate the input. I did find out that the controller I was using not working. I installed a new controller and off I went. This thing is super comfortable to ride and pretty quick as well.

Hi All,
Just wondering If ya all got any teardown, schematics, guide for the Astronaut 4. It would be cool to see the internals.
The handlebar are somewhat decent, nothing fancy. Thing is heavy and pretty bright.
Thanks
