I wanted to know how to recognise a Bird Xiaomi M365 from a Bird Segway?
Any insights/tips?

Many thanks

Just like everybody else here. Steal one each, then take all the time you need to discover the differences.

Or, there is about million photos of each online... Mr. Google can help you.

You can recognize it from the red brake cable. segways don't have red brake cables and xiaomi does. So no disk brake on the segway.

Segways have a thicker taller shaft with a throttle and brake thumb switch that looks identical on both side, solid rubber wheels some have glow lights no brake cable and the footboard slants up to the upright shaft, may also contain additional battery pack

M365 smaller frame throttle and motorcycle style brake with red brake line, thick underneath floorboard where battery is located, no lights aside headlight and air filled tires with brake rotor on rear tire

The Segway also feels like it's gonna snap when you bunnyhop on them. In my opinion, they're plastic POS for any hard riding, but the LEDs are cool.
