Ok, I have dash and controller flashed but have not changed serial number, waiting for Bluetooth dongle for this PC to arrive.
Dash powers on and off and control's light and mode settings. Is it normal when I push scooter hit throttle and then regen braking kicks in when the serial has not yet been flashed?

Just wanted to update, BMS and Controller have been flashed. Waiting on a dash to flash that. Once everything is done I will post a comprehensive tutorial including everything you need to know and do to get a rental ninebot max to retail working condition.

Another update, dash recieved and flashed. Now that all componenets are flashed and ready for use, I am working on the wiring for the dash-controller as Lyft messed with the pinouts. Dont wanna fry my only dash

Left on the to do list:
- Wire up scooter
- pray it doesnt burst into flames
- flash ESC CFW through ninebot flasher
- change the serial

Note: I am using a M365Pro dash, however it accepted the Max BLE555 flash just fine. I dont see why it wouldnt work, but I am waiting for a OEM Max dash in the mail which I will also test. Again, they should be pretty much the same. I have 2 scooters to convert, this one is the guinne pig and is pretty rough around the edges internally (ive been doing lots of "R&D" ) so the second one will be a clean and easy conversion now that everything is sorted out.

Final Update: Mission Success!

Got a fully functional Lyft Ninebot Max that does 30km/h and has all the modes and settings. Now I have to get that tutorial pieced together and posted, it's exam week so bear with me it could be a few days. Just know its fully possible to get these working for just the cost of a dash (~$30). Make sure you have one on hand for the conversion.

Will post a tutorial thread in the coming days, promise!

The headlight functions just like on the retail model, and for the dash cover I ordered from AliExpress. For screws I just go to home depot or the likes and find what fits (I have yet to do that though as I am still messin with some debug stuff and need the dash exposed).

Dash: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000410 ... 4c4dwMJs2w
Dash Cover: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000512 ... 4c4dwMJs2w

A couple other things you will need to do this:
St Link
Soldering Iron
Windows PC (I have win 10)

Tomorrow is the last day of exams, so the tutorial will be up by the weekend!
