The folding mechanism is on ebay:

I can vouch for this not working. dont buy!
I kinda had thought this wouldn't work for me as purchased a freed Bird. Its cheaper and in many ways yes easy to convert to personal. But Im trying to figure out how to make it folding. Since they have no spot to put the folding mechanism I would have to buy the neck part that it goes into as well and possibly a new deck. I don't know. I just wondered if anyone else had managed to do this.
Some of the es2/4 in the wild are able to be folded. I've gotten a few in auction before. The little part of metal between the stem and deck will go down further and make a u shape in the deck if it's a foldable model, I'll upload a pic To view images REGISTER or LOGIN for full access.
