hey Guys,
I found a Voi Scooter that has a drained battery. Strange thing is that the wheels are not blocked. I could move it. When rolling the Scooter seems to reload itself. Because suddenly the Blue led light was blincking.
So is this Scooter still trackable? Is there and extra battery for the It is a voi with the black box in front.
Thanks for your help :)
Could've been just some remnants of charge that managed to flicker the screen for a sec. I'm not sure these scooters have any energy conservation mechanism (but I dont think so).
If the GPS/GSM modules don't have any damage and weren't deleted in Voi's systems, I can't see why they wouldnt be able to trace your scooter as soon as you put a bit of charge in it
Thanks for your Input.

Yesterday the Voi Scooter was picked up by some Hunters.
They tracked it even there was no energy was left on the screen.
Saw Them Scanning the area via Smartphones.

So it seems that there Must be an extra battery for the gps Or the Power display does Not show the left energy.

The Scooter was stood for 7 days with no Energy shown on the Display.

I think After Finding a drained Scooter it is more than necessary to disconnect from any Power source

I borrowed my friend's es2 to flash the board and it was straight forward. The voi scooter could ride, connect to the app, update and it was damn fast, i couldn't notice any difference between my friend's es2 and the voi ninebot.
Btw the voi was a es4.
But when I tried to connect the other dashboard it didn't react. So I guess that only the dashboard needs replacing.

Looking for an answer:

I followed the flash tutorial at https://www.scooterhacking.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15 and everything seem to have gone smoothly
However:
- MAIN PROBLEM the power button doesnt work (i can start the scooter by charging the battery). Does this mean I have to buy a new dashboard?
- MINOR PROBLEM despite the custom fw saying top speed should be 32, the scooter only manages to go 25.

Did anybody encounter the same issue as me?
I started to suspect Voi might have disabled the power button in their dashboards. They wouldnt need it anyway I guess?

Important question: does C15 capacitor need to be put back in place? because that's actually something I didnt do. I'm just looking for confirmation before I do something stupid

Button is disabled mechanically with small black plastic square. Just remove that and button will work.
