Hello All,
First post here! I have just got into electric scooters. Have been doing Skip charging for a while and wanted to find a way of charging out in the field. Just bought a ES4 project (frame & everything minus dashboard and controller).
Got the idea of using 4 or 6 parallel repurposed internal batteries in conjunction with an inverter. My questions are the following: (1) do I need a controller in order to charge or can I just buy a charge port and plug it into the battery & wall? (2) If I need a motherboard can I set it

App to know battery charge level? Will the bird function if the motors and other sensors aren’t hooked up?
