I've been toying around with some custom builds. I'm learning a ton, but often wonder if my assumptions are based on any more than what I imagine is important. For example...I want more power out of my current build. If I upgrade the controller, I know I'll probably be able to feed it more juice, but at what point will I be almost certain to burn out my motor...and can these batteries even support the increased amp draw? If I run 2 batteries in parallel, will a 30-40 amp draw be more or less split between them? If I run a 500-1000w controller on a 350w motor, how do I avoid toasting it? I'm a heavy guy, in an area with plenty of hills. Would I be better off with 2 moderately powered motors, or 1 motor running at mach 1? ;)

I'd love a little advice from those who are more in the know, and perhaps have already made the mistakes I probably have ahead of me. Thanks!
