Trying to convert a 250W E300 to a 500W lawnmower motor power. My dilemma is finding a 17x10mm double-D sprocket in #25 chain spec. All the ones I see are 40/41 chain .500 pitch. Could I actually run a #25 chain (.250 pitch) onto a #41 (.500 pitch) sprocket? The 500W motor is 4800 RPM as compared to the 250W ~2700 RPM. I wonder If Ill lose torque on the higher winding motor? So Im looking for a ~15 tooth 17x10mm #25 chain sprocket.
