In reference to a battery mod thread from last year (Ninebot Max G30 battery Mod), I noticed a 2s4p battery pack pushed into the "front tube":

Would it be worth to try and measure how many cells would fit into the pole instead as an additional hidden battery? Did anyone try?

would it be easier to extent the wheel base with a rear shock setup and modify the battery compartment

Sure but it would keep the stock appearance with the extra cells tucked neatly inside the pole. It's been a while since I've messed with the Max and I'm sure it wouldn't be much of a pain to add another neg and pos wire thru the neck gyro slot or whatever it's called but damn I would make sure you fashioned up maybe some sort of in-line fuse of some sort in case friction is somehow caused with turning radius with that small diameter pass thru hole because you wouldn't want to ground it out on your frame.
