Hi, I finally got to the battery but, before doing anything stupid, feel kinda stuck.

The pack seems to be in some sort of protective like the controller.

I need to bypass the BMS but how do I extract the pack?

Thanks in advance for the guidance :)

Use an Angle Grinder and cut the top of the box off.
Cut under/along the lips on each side and take it slowly.
It will get messy, the rubber inside will end up absolutely everywhere,

But then how will I put it back together? I'll need to protect the battery pack again, no?

Unscrew the side plates first, and after you have cut the top out you can use these to hold the top again.
Look at the battery pack, it's pretty obvious how to do it :-)

You could also add a zip tie or two for extra strength I suppose.
