Sweet, 16ah battery on its way 😀
Out of curiosity, what battery did you order?
Looks like I bought this one.... but I actually thought I bought one with a charger...
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000131 ... 4c4dvlwcIa

but to be honest it was my 2nd choice as I am limited as to what ships to New Zealand.
essentially, I went through and looked at batteries or stores with high traffic and good reviews.

Before flashing a 10k ride used 48%
I never really tested to see if I could go 20km before it died...
But does that sound normal?
Energy can't disappear.
15km is the usual max range going full speed. The flashed firmware is just showing more realistic battery estimates.
OK great, thanks for that.

Umm, but it can and does turn to waste heat. Simply going faster is less efficient first of all due to the fact that air resistance increases with the speed squared, so going twice as fast requires 4x the power. Youll get to your destination 2x faster, but in total you are stil going to use 2x more energy. Other factors are more complicated: the battery works less efficiently with higher currents drawn, the motor is not optimized for higher speed etc.

I have increased the power to 750W, but in reality it pulls around 860W for a short period of time, normally on acceleration or going uphill and also unlocked the speed limit, it goes till about 32-33km/h. However I really don't get that much of a different range. Before the flash I was doing around 30-32km on a single charge with around 4-5% left in the battery. Now I am doing around 28km on a single charge, which I think is normal, looking the increased power, but I am not going non-stop full speed. If you are constantly on full speed, then maybe you will get way lower range.

PS this is on M365 standard.
What, how much do you weigh if you get such great range?
I am about 73kg with the backpack maybe 75kg. But in my city I barely got any uphills, so this for sure helps with battery life.

Lol I’m 70kg and get half that range...

(No hills)

With the stock Firmware I was getting around 33-34km with still a little battery left - 3-4%.

Ummmm don’t think my battery level is reading properly... however, I’m freewheeling in my lounge to test my newly Y connected batteries..

I know under load it would be less... but it still can’t be right
