Installing external battery without soldering, can you sanity check me please?

I really dont want to solder anything, im noob, so I figured out how to install the battery without soldering myself, with pre-soldered wires and connectors. Here is my plan:
1) I plug the original battery into this male xt30 wire: Image
2) I connect the same wire to a screw connector or something similar, like this thing: Image
3)I connect the screw connector to a female xt30 wire: Image at this point the connection from the original battery to the circuit board is simply connected trough a longer piece of wire.
4) I connect a t type wire to the external battery with this wire: Image
5) I get another screw connector and a longer piece of wire to simply extend the t type wire and pull it trough the frame.
6) Shove the extended t type wire into one side of the first screw connector, double penetrating it. (maybe I find a Y or T shaped connector so I dont have to double penetrate, but the idea is the same)
7) Done.

I suppose I am leaving out the car fuse people usually put in, but why is it even necessary? The original battery doesnt have such fuse in the wire. If its really necessary, I suppose I can connect that with one of those screw connectors too, as the fuse holder comes already with a wire attached.

I would use XT60 connectors for one. And two, the fuse is really a good idea. Bird Zero batteries actually use XT60 connectors as standard and have an inline fuse (30amp) already there. So I just added another connector and ran in parallel.

If you don't know how to solder, your idea looks OK but soldering is much preferred. These batteries fully charged can be quite dangerous if it arcs on ya. It completely vaporized one of the leads on my multimeter when I arced it by accident while checking voltage. If it vaporizes metal, imagine skin

Man-up and get a soldering iron.

Harbor Freight has a soldering iron for $3.99

Heat shrink tubing assortment is only $3.99

$4.99 Helping hands are useful, but not necessary. You can use clothes pins or bag clips, etc.

Remember, put the shrink tube on BEFORE soldering. You can use a cigarette lighter to perform the shrink if you don't have a heat gun.

Don't forget to buy some solder too.
