So I got a new dash which I think is a oem or clone came in labeled box as m365 pro.so the 4pin was lil bigger then the one I took of from .so I used a 4pin connector and spliced the wires to fit the female connected it turn on but turns off I hold the button down it I connect bluetooth it stays on but only when I hold the button down disconnects .does this dashboard need to be flashed. Thanks guys hopefully get some tips .this is a spin max and the control is different once I get back I'll post picz if anyone interested it has 7 wires then the stock max

What i did got to work on Max is the motor. i was able to use Max motor on ES components. i just swap it out the motor. however its only goes either zero mph or 14mph and there's no speed adjustment.

correct me if i’m wrong. if we use a generic speed controller on the ninebot max we also have to replace the battery bms with a more “basic” one. the power cuts in and out.

I successfully converted a max last night using a generic controller with the s866 lcd display. Working on raising the current top speed from around 15. Used the link below from amazon. Definitely cheaper versions available, but can't beat their return policy.

@nmaj was it a spin or lyft max? i thought other ppl said i had to buy a new batt too, tryin to see if i have other options

Just ordered two. Let’s hope it works.
Connecting the Spin dashboard like the original Max gives error code 32.
Connecting the Spin dashboard to a Lyft controller turns on then off.
