you should hop over to scooterhacking.org for help with this one. But essentially you need to remove the firmware lock capacitor on the dash first, then hook up your STlink and apply the dash flash. Then, proceed to flash the esc. Remember- SNSC or ES4 type scooters use 3.3v from St-link, and Max G30 type uses 5v for flashing. Also, banana Science on youtube goes over this topic in pretty great detail. Go check him out.

It has to be in low power mode. Connect st link to the 3 pins, hook to pc open in st link utilty. Plug in battery and plug in dashboard, it will power on, unplug battery and leave dash plugged in, if the esc starts blinking when st link and dash is connected, you're in low power.

Remove copy protection, you will get a blank stm32 on the esc and then upload and program drv 126.

Hi

I am running into an issue regarding swim connection in STVP: "Error cannot communicate with the device"
I have re-soldered, checked the connections multiple times, tried multiple ST Links, blue light is still flashing, ST Link worked for the ESC.

Has anyone run into this issue and fixed it before?
I had that problem before, I was using an USB extension wire, when I removed that, it work.
But now my prob is my IAP 2.5.2 prog can't connect to any serial port, the box are empty. "No serial port avaiable".
And the other guys told you should start flash BMS.

My guess is that your usb extension wire was only intended for charge while only having neg and pos wires where with your operation you would also need the two data wires. Just a guess as I had ran into similar wtf is wrong now issues while trying to flash Mobile devices my pc would only charge. It's more common than I would of thought with a lot of the cheaper usb cables especially the smaller length wires as they don't actually have the data wires inside.
