got it running, but it stops within 1 minute.
then powercycle and you can go again.
seems like controller is running hot or in protection and i need a more powerfull one.

all the rest works.

of the "instrument" line, cut the red wire and place key interlock in between, to have some theft protection.

🤣 5th attempt to get some help on this forum..

Opened the case, can I fit a Smart BMS 40? Does anyone know what Amps this battery can manage?

Ampere is on the battery. If it's a big battery then a 14S BMS and a smart 40 I don't know, but any BMS can go in as long as you have the right 'series S'

doesn't matter how much the battery can give, it matters how much you need at the motor.

the most battery's can give you > 45 Amps constant, but you won't need it in the motor.

look at how much you need, and find the matching BMS.
( Power = Voltage x Amps )

Hello everyone, I am French and I wanted to know if someone who knows everything would be willing to help me if possible on discord, because I have almost the same model but without the case in front and I don't know where to go find the GPS suddenly and how to make it work correctly

Hi Everyone,

I'm just starting my project to get back in track one Lime 4 which I have two battery pack with, one small and one big.

And I'm struggling with the choice of the BMS, which Amp should I choose ?

If I understood right, I have to calculate it with the power the motor can handle, which is a 350w.
So depending on the controller voltage which is 36 or 48V :

350/36 = 10 A
350/48 = 7,3 A

So I should use an 10 or 15A BMS to feed the 350w to the motor right ? So everyone who has a working lime gen 4 use a 10s 15A and a 14s 15A BMS ?

Thank you for your help.
