Motor controler of Lime 4.0.
specific made for this product.
on controler has 12x N MOSFET - GK1UW, 4 for each phase of motor
an FD2203S Gate Driver IC
heart of controler is STM32F103C8T6 - 32 bit ARM Microcontroler.
there also are specific unlabeled IC's for controling communication.

as test i have purchased Motor controler, self learning from Ali, will let know if it works.

i had to bypass positive AND negative on this one to get it to basically allow me access to the full 43 volts

no, it is in need of a signal to unlock.

i am going to build in a cable to open the lock when needed.
once installed and can charge the battery while in the scooter, you don't need to remove it.
i wanted to open it to change the BMS, then i will install it, locked, with the cable hidden inside the steer handle . It already an emergency cable in the neck to open the battery lock. But sshhhh... don't tell anyone. Lol. Email me hotroddidit at yahoo . Com. Help me with one

seems like controller is running hot or in protection and i need a more powerfull one.

so controller on way from santa aka aliepress and in the meantime i can install a new bms.... but just a couply questions:

- did i need to order a new throttle or is the lime one compatible?

You can simply use the throttle of the Lime. 3 wires plus (red) minus (black) and return 5 volts. You can connect this to the controller,

I opened the release motor and wired it directly to 5 volts. An up-down switch was added that reversed the plus and minus, so say open and closed.
I installed this in the hole I made to remove the battery.

The 5 volts come through a USB connection that I fed through a phone charger so they can't just take it out.

This only works if your unlocking motor still works, otherwise you have to do it with a cable that is also described on the forum

Yes, The one from Ali express (48V 500W 40mm height), works well, if you are new to the scoot repairs, this specific display (add on purchase) can help you determine (narrow) down the fault (in my case it's throttle error (which is fixed) as shown on the display). It does work without shuttering from my best knowledge, sometime it does rattles but it's rare but give it a quick kick and it works and even sound just like the ones on the street. You can build hall sensors yourself from the other guides listed on the article but it may not be worth the hassle, no reason to rebuild the hall sensor if the wheel may need to be replaced with another wheel, or something else need replacement. So far the Lim S Gen4 seated works well, the mini 36v battery can get me places, but not very far. 2 of them plus a charger is needed for long distances.

I have placed those articles about placing Hall sensors myself, I now use a 52 volt battery myself and go almost 50 km per hour, does that KT controller fit in it or do you have to grind it?

* For the Lime Gen 4 - You may not need to modify the wheel for the hall sensors to get the scoot to work. The scoot uses KT controllers - All you need to get a KT controller, wire it up and get it to work like I did with mines. A 40mm barely fits in the footboard but upon wiring it correctly the scoot just works.

I might make a pdf or video guide on how to do all this but it's a hassle getting the battery out from underneath. But I already have one working with their built in seat with a display.
